Can students from Maharashtra State give Pgcet entrance exam?

Postgraduate common entrance test is the Karnataka state level test for admission in M.Tech, M.Arch and various other PG programs. The candidates giving this test should have passed any government recognized institution located in Karnataka either of the candidates’ parents should have studied in Government recognized institutions in Karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years. So,it is possible to give pgcet test if you are not studied in Karnataka.
